Katha | By the Lake
Situated next to Durgam Cheruvu Lake, we were tasked with retrofitting an existing structure in a holistic manner. The coffee islands are designed as separate monoliths within the space, hosting a vinyl player, a sound system, a retail unit, and a bakery display. Stainless steel and stone take precedence, anchored by a stone floor laid out in a grid that becomes a repeating backdrop to the islands.
